Wedding Photography Style

There are many photographic styles available today. This term not only covers the way in which the photo is captured, but also how it is printed. We try to ensure our photography encompasses a variety of stlyes to provide you with an interesting wedding portfolio.

The traditional wedding photo has not been lost, and certainly in our area (South Wales) is not going out of fashion. Most brides & their families still want to capture formal portraits of the wedding day to ensure the wedding party is captured at their best and in all their splendor. Having said this, it does not mean that these formal portraits have to be ridgid, quite the contrary, these traditional wedding photographs can capture the personalility of the group in front of the lens in a more relaxed and natural way than in the past.

A lot of couples are requestiing more candid type shots in their album that truly capure the moments as they happen, the spontaneous happenings that can't be re-created or posed. These shot can be wonderful, but of course, cannot be guaranteed. As we normally work as a team with two seperate photographers, there is however much more opportunity in capturing those elusive moments.

Journalistic or reportage styles of photography also have their place at weddings, and serve to present the bride & groom with a documentary picture of the day, which can be fascinating after the event, as more often than not the couple has been overwhelmed by proceedings and have missed out on a great deal of the background activities.

The photographs created on your day can be finished as colour, Black & White or sepia prints as we use professional Digital SLR cameras which offer maximum flexibilty. Our design knowledge & flair provides you with an interesting portfolio for you to create your album from. In addition to the traditional wedding albums, we are please to be able to offer a storybook style album. These contemporary designed albums are individually created for you with the end result being printed in the same stlyle and quality as a professionaly printed picture book.
