What should we wear?
Above all be your self, but let's discuss this at your planning session - just think about what you hope to achieve in your pictures, and dress accordingly, if you're after a relaxed family picture jeans work very well. Everyone in black or white can be very effective, the key is to know what you’re looking for and if you're not sure bring a change of clothes to create some different looks. Simple, long-sleeved garments in natural colours always work well. In groups pictures try to avoid anyone wearing bold stripes & patterns.
What about hair & Make up?
If you want the ultimate experience we are able to provide stylist services throughout your photo shoot, just ask us for details.
What happens if the kids misbehave?
Rather that telling the kids that they're going for photographs and they must be good & smile for the photographer, it's more often that not better to tell them that we're going some where fun! If you're really concerned about a particular issue, discuss it with us at your consultation and I'm sure we'll be able to put your mind at rest by coming up with imagintive ideas to solve any worries.
Very occasionally a child may not be up for it on the day. In these rare cases, persevering regardless will simply create poor pictures, stressed parents and a really unhappy child. If this should happen we will just reschedule the shoot for another time with no extra charge. The most important thing is for you to relax and enjoy – if you’re stressed or worried, your child will be too. If you’re ready to simply come and have some fun and enjoy yourselves, we're sure to create images you’ll love.
When do we get to see our pictures?
About a week later you'll return to the studio to view your pictures.
How long will my pictures take to reach me?
We know you're excited about your images! But creating great images takes time and shouldn't be rushed, we check each image to make sure it's perfect, before it reaches your home. We therefore ask you allow 1-3 weeks for prints & canvas orders and 4-6 weeks for album & frame orders, if a rush order is needed, you must let us know before placing the order, so we can try to accommodate you.
